While Douglas sat down to strategize how best to carry out the order given to him, his mind flashed back at how he began his dirty deeds in the first place. …
It wasn’t his intention to as bad as he was now, but circumstances led him to it.
He recalled being a poor man with his wife and two sons. Nothing at all was working for them until one day he complained to his friend who he bumped into one of the days who seemed wealthy and well placed in life.
Douglas’ friend agreed to help him only if he wouldn’t reveal the “secret of his life” to anyone.
“You see, this life is full of secrets; there are certain useful secrets you must know to be successful in this world.” He had said, gaining Douglas’ rapt attention. On seeing Douglas was determined, he asked they meet in three days time, promising to reveal everything he needed to know.
Unknown to him, he was about going into a deep pit difficult to escape.
CHEATED : EPISODE 21 – 40
On the day of initiation, he was invited to a top meeting alongside his friend.
“Write your name under mine; it shows I invited you.” His friend said as Douglas obeyed.
On returning from the “meeting” as his friend called it, he had never had peace in his dreams; he was always in a meeting with people and that was how it all started.
Ever since the initiation, he had lost his loved ones to death, except his second son who was already mentally derailed.
“I have put in a lot into this to see I’m compensated with promotions, so nothing can bring me down.” He said with a voice of finality as he opened a portal at exactly midnight for travels.
“Mrs. Folawe, Mrs. Folawe.”He soliloquized as he looked searched the market for her soul.
“Finally!” He said on sighting her soul.
After checking the device attached to her, he discovered she was still intact.
“All good.” He thought to himself as he found his way out of the ever busy market.
He remembered when he was all new and his friend who initiated him then was sent on an errand to the market.
On permission, he was taken along.
“Victor what is this place?” Douglas asked looking around as sellers attempted to convince them to get something from their own customized shop.
“It’s a market as you can see. Just as we have one in our physical world, there’s one here too- though not just one, but this is the general market for our own geographical area.” He replied as they walked through.
“So what happens here?”
“Buying and selling, obviously.” Victor said with a smirk.
“Of what?” He asked as Victor sighed at his inquisitive friend.
“Okay here they sell important stuffs…..you know, things that can make a human have a comfortable life and live fulfilled.”
“How do you get them then?”
“For some they willingly give it to us, while for the rest we take it by force- especially when it’s worth a fortune.” He explained as Douglas stared at his friend like he was speaking Chinese.
“You don’t understand? Okay let me re-explain.
You see for every human born on this Earth, there’s always a seed in him or her- the seed that’d make the person important in life because originally, no one is born to be poor.
You see apart from that seed, there are other things: like your destiny, glory and what have you, all invested in the seed.
So sometimes, we take the seed from the person and place it for sale to our members so we can be rich and comfortable.”
“Okay, so how then are these seeds gotten?”
“There are many ways, but the common way is via ignorance.
A mother who doesn’t know the worth of her child allows just anyone to carry her baby during the naming ceremony.
Whenever a child of destiny or great glory is born, we are being signified and we then go in search for the child. It’s just like the story of the three wise men we were told as kids.
Like the three wise men, we are able to follow the child’s star to wherever he or she is located.
While the mom is celebrating, we who have access to the spirit realm at all times, device a way to get in contact with the baby.
We can carry the child and touch the hair or any other method.
Sometimes, when the baby is a bit sensitive, he cries like he knows he’s in trouble.
Unfortunately, the mother is careless.
Another way is via the ignorance of the child when grown into an adult or teenager.
God hates sexual immorality so that’s what we use most to get God to turn away from a child of destiny.
Sometimes, we get to convince such child who is now an adult that sex means nothing; everyone is doing it and nothing happened to them.

Meanwhile, the actual truth is if a child of great destiny or glory involves himself in such, he has virtually everything to lose. But that would be hidden from our Target.
Once he’s convinced via the various friends we surround him with, we then send in an agent for him to eventually sleep with.
Sometimes, the parents of the child who aren’t ignorant of our devices are alerted in their spirit and go on their knees for him; or if the child has grown to a certain height spiritually, he could be warned in the dream.
But most times, it isn’t so.
Once he sleeps with our agent, his seed of greatness is taken and placed on sale here as you can see.” Victor said as they walked round the market to see the prices of the items sold.
“Souls? Souls are sold too?” The young Douglas asked as they went to a different section of the market.
“Yes.”
“But……but how do they get here?”
“I don’t know that, I’m not up to that level. But from what I heard, these souls are the ones some of us used for sacrifice.” He responded and at that point, they got to yet another section of the market where ‘tools’ were sold.
“Tools shop? Can we go in there to see?” Douglas said as Victor sighed.
“Just don’t forget we’re on an errand.” He said as they walked in.
“The tools’ shop is a place to buy, purchase, or make an enquiry on the best tool needed to go after or hinder someone from doing a particular thing, usually a project that’d cause great damage to one of us.
For example I want to stop my rival in office from going on with that project because he is more intelligent and knowledgeable than I am.
I simply come here for advise on the best tool to use.
It could be to cause a rift in the family, financial attack or discouragement.”
“Discouragement. Hmmm……it seems to be more expensive than the rest here.”
“Yes, because it is the best tool so far. No matter how great a person’s work or anything he’s doing would be, it can never be birthed without encouragement.
Thus, discouragement is our best tool.” He said and just then, his device beeped.
“We have to go now, we’ve overstayed our welcome here.” Victor said.
On remembering how close him and Victor were back then, Mr. Douglas heaved a huge sigh.
“Victor, I really miss you. Your demise was a great shock to me and according to what I heard, you disobeyed and order and that was it- you were gone.
Now I have to do things against my own will to see that my son would be back to normal, hopefully.
I’ve just lost everything, everything!”
“Emma what is it? You seem worried, to the extent that I noticed it even in prayers. You’re not even sleeping and this is 4am already. What’s troubling your mind?” K asked as he noticed his friend wasn’t himself.
“Can I ask a question?”
“Sure bro, go ahead.”
“When my case is finally over, what needs to be done for my mom to be well again?” Emma asked as there was a brief silence.
“I do not know Emma, but I know there’s nothing God cannot do.”
“I know that. Can you please ask God for me? I really want mom back because from what I know how, her sickness isn’t ordinary.”.
“Ask God for you? You can go to him yourself you know.” K said as Emma shook his head in the negative.
“I need instant answers and if I go to Him myself, it’d require some time before He answers me. You have been His child for years so he’d recognize your voice faster than mine.” Emma said
“Hmmm…….I will ask him then. But still guy you need to relax this body; you haven’t had any sleep and that’s dangerous to your health.”
“K abeg wetin full my mind no need sleep at all, I still dey worry.”
“You no need to worry, God go settle everything. Just sleep so you’d have strength for today” he said as Emma listened and lay down, though his mind was still roaming about in thoughts.
While asleep, Kingsley had a dream where he saw his whole family in danger of a fierce lion who wasn’t far from them.
“What’s this?” He asked himself as he awoke from sleep.
