Mukasa fell flat using his hand to cover his head as they flred.
“Let’s go! They shouted and took off when the neighbors began to come out to see what was happening.
“Mukasa! His neighbors shouted and broke in to see him staggering to get up.
Everything the buIIet broke in the house fell on him and they helped him out of the house bIeeding,
“Who are they? They dressed like the police but their action is completely absurd, a man said when they helped him sit outside.
“I thought they were the police too but they are fake, He weakly replied.
“What exactly is going on? Yesterday it was a crying young lady with the cops looking for you, today is fake cops who tried to kill you, what’s going on? A woman asked but Mukasa only shook his head and Ochen called.
“What happened? We are on the way! Ochen said.
“They are gone, they have destroyed someone house for me, truly I’m done for now, Mukasa said almost in tears.
“We are almost there, Ochen said and dropped the call………

Bale came out and saw Christiana pacing around waiting for him and she gasped when she saw him,
“You haven’t dressed up yet? She asked.
“So you expect me to leave the comfort of My house to go look for Regina huh? Bale asked back.
“What are you saying? I didn’t force you, I asked to go alone but you refused, She said and Bale smiled and brought out a cigarette to lit,
“You smoke? She asked surprised.
‘Yes, any problem with that? You know I’m tired of this fake life with you, he said and Christiana shook her head and picked her bag to leave.
“And where do you think you’re going to? He asked.
“Going to look for my daughter without your help, she replied and attempted to open up but Bale held her and threw her on the floor.
“Bale! Christiana shouted on him and he sat on her holding her chin hard.
“Next time I say don’t do something, you won’t go against my command bitch! Who do you think you are huh! He shouted while Christy struggled with his hands to free herself.
“Bale you’re hurting me! She cried.
“And I don’t care! You’ve enjoyed the cool side of me for too Long, and now I will do whatever I want! He shouted.
“Bale please let me go, my daughter needs me, she cried.
“What daughter? Think about yourself Christiana, for I think your daughter is safe, He said.
“What are you saying? Leave me Alone! Christiana shouted and attempted to get up but he pushed her back making her hit her head hard on the tiles.
“Bale, Christy whispered scared when his hands went through her legs.
“Bale no don’t do this I beg you, please don’t! Christy shouted.
“Now you shut up, nothing goes for nothing or don’t you know that? Then you’ll be a big fool, he said forcing his way in.
“Bale no please! Christiana screamed………….

Ochen and James arrived first before the cops and met everyone outside,
“My God! What the hell happened here? James asked when he saw the damages.
“Mukasa you’re hurt, Ochen went to him..
“I’m fine, what have I done to deserve this? Mukasa asked and Ochen looked at the building.
“It’s okay, what matters is you’re alive, the building can be renovated, Ochen said.
“With which money? When I’m owing the debt of this house? Common what kind of miracle will happen? Mukasa asked.
“Don’t worry about that, let’s take you to the hospital first, Ochen said.
“Are we not waiting for the police to come? Mukasa asked.
“They will be here soon, James said and their siren was heard.
“What the h’ll! James uncle said when he saw the building and he approached Mukasa where he sat.
“You’re lucky you survived it, he said.
“Won’t it be better if I didn’t? Mukasa asked back.
“Don’t worry, they will be brought to book, James uncle said and shook his head.
“I once heard they picked a man dressed like the police from his office, and his corpse was found on the street the next day. It wasn’t an easy case for us, and it was so wise of you to call Ochen first to confirm, He continued.
“I almost Came out to meet them to beg for listening ear at least, but then i asked myself, can the cops be here this early to get me? I wasn’t free with myself, Mukasa said.
“What is going to happen now uncle? James asked.
“Take him to the hospital, we will be going to their hideout from here, he replied.
“Please my daughter is there, I beg you bring her out alive, Mukasa said and he nodded.
“We will try our best, he said.
“Be careful uncle, James said and he gently pat him on his back, and Ochen and James helped Mukasa to the car and drove off with him.
“Alright let’s go! James uncle commanded and they all got in and drove off………..

Bale phone began to ring and he sluggishly got up from Christiana and gave her a peck,
“It was nice wasn’t it? He asked smiling at her and picked up.
“Yes, he said going to the door to get the keys so Christiana won’t escape.
“We saw Mukasa in his house this morning, but he refused bringing himself out, one of them said.
“What do you mean? Are you saying you didn’t get him or ki.ll him! Bale shouted and Christiana gasped when she heard it.
“There was nothing we could do but we fired at the house, its likely he’s dead with the damages we did, he said.
“you’re not even sure, did I pay you for that! Bale shouted.
“If its that easy why didn’t you do it yourself? You have no right to shout on us for a fucken pay, the deed has been done and that’s it, come take this girl away from us! He shouted and dropped the call.
“Bastards! Bale shouted and looked at Christiana who was scared to death.
“So you can kill Bale? She shakily asked.
“Wrong question, you should be asking if I’m this sweet on bed, he replied and sat down.
“Why are you doing this Bale? I thought you’ve changed, i trusted you, Christy said and Bale laughed.
“Sorry baby, I don’t even trust myself, go tidy yourself up before i get in the mood again, he said and got up to leave for his room but he stopped and faced her,
“Let me have your phone, he said.
“What! She asked.
“Don’t let me repeat myself else you’ll regret it! He shouted on her.
“In my bag its my bag, she shakily said and he removed it from her bag and switched it off.
“Good girl, he said taking the phone with him and left for his room and Christiana broke down crying…………

Mukasa wounds were treated, and while waiting for him, Ochen tried calling Christiana number but it was switched off,
“What’s wrong? James asked.
“Its Christiana, with the way Bale is dangerous I’m afraid for her, he said.
“What if Bale intentions is not to hurt her? James asked.
“Do you think he can’t hurt her If he wants to? You don’t know my brother, he can hurt any body that comes his way without thinking twice, even my late mother fell victim of it severally before she died. Before she passed on, We felt he had some kind of mental problem and we had to take him to the psychiatric hospital, he was so mad with us and thought we didn’t love him. But my de monic dad released him saying nothing is wrong with him, he became more violent and we get to fight every now and then, Ochen said and James touched him.
“I see you mean well for your brother, but will you let him go to jail? James asked.
“That i don’t know, but my brother is not ready to change, and If i can touch some few strings on his behalf i will want him back to the psychiatric hospital. He needs to get well, Ochen replied.
“That can only happen if its confirmed medically he has a mental disorder, James said and Ochen heaved and covered his face sadly………..
